Drink Better: Persimmon Old-Fashioned - a craft cocktail with Van Brunt Stillhouse Whiskey

Muddle the pulp from the persimmon in a shaker until nearly pureed. Add the whiskey and bitters and shake well. Serve over rocks in a low tumbler and top with club soda if desired. Garnish and stir with a cinnamon stick.
